Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing The Nurturing Nest.
We are committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that support parents and families in their journey of growth, awareness, and connection.
As many of our programs involve advance planning, limited participant capacity, personalised preparation, digital access, and live facilitation, this Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, transfers, rescheduling, and payment-related matters are handled.
By registering for or purchasing any product or Service offered by The Nurturing Nest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
This Policy should be read together with our:
-
Terms of Use
-
Privacy Policy
-
Disclaimer
-
Cookie Policy (where applicable)
2. Our Refund Philosophy
At The Nurturing Nest, we value fairness, transparency, and mutual respect.
When you enrol in one of our Services, we begin reserving resources, planning facilitators, preparing materials, allocating seats, and making commitments based on your registration.
For this reason, purchases are generally non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular Service or where required under applicable law.
However, we also understand that unexpected situations may arise. Where appropriate and at our sole discretion, we may offer alternatives such as:
-
transfer to another available batch;
-
rescheduling of an individual session;
-
a credit toward another eligible Service; or
-
another reasonable solution depending on the circumstances.
Any such exception is offered as a gesture of goodwill and does not create an ongoing entitlement for future requests.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or overrides any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
3. Live Webinars
Registration for live webinars reserves a place for the participant and contributes to the planning and delivery of the event.
Accordingly:
-
Webinar registrations are generally non-refundable.
-
If you are unable to attend, you may contact us before the webinar begins to request a transfer to another available session, where such transfer is feasible and approved by The Nurturing Nest.
-
Transfer requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
-
Failure to attend a scheduled webinar without prior communication will generally be treated as a no-show and will not entitle the participant to a refund, replay, or replacement session unless expressly stated for that particular webinar.
Where replay access is included as part of the webinar offering, access will be provided in accordance with the details communicated at the time of registration.
4. Live Workshops
Our workshops often involve limited seating, advance preparation, venue arrangements, facilitator scheduling, and participant materials.
Therefore:
-
Workshop registrations are generally non-refundable.
-
Subject to availability and our approval, a participant may request to transfer their registration to another available workshop or batch.
-
Requests for transfers should be made as early as reasonably possible.
-
A participant who does not attend a scheduled workshop without prior communication will generally not be entitled to a refund or replacement.
Where a workshop includes both online and offline components, separate attendance at one component does not create an entitlement to a partial refund.
5. Group Coaching Programs
Group coaching programs involve advance planning, limited participant capacity, structured learning, and ongoing facilitation throughout the duration of the program.
Accordingly:
-
Fees paid for group coaching programs are generally non-refundable.
-
Once a program has commenced, participants are not entitled to a refund if they choose to discontinue their participation for personal reasons.
-
Missed sessions do not ordinarily entitle participants to refunds, replacement sessions, or extensions unless expressly stated as part of the program.
-
Where feasible and at the sole discretion of The Nurturing Nest, a participant may be offered the opportunity to join another available batch or receive another reasonable alternative. Such decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
-
Any bonus materials, recordings, downloadable resources, or community access already provided remain subject to our Terms of Use and Intellectual Property provisions.
6. Individual (1:1) Coaching
Individual coaching sessions are reserved exclusively for each participant and involve dedicated preparation and scheduling.
Accordingly:
-
Coaching fees are generally non-refundable.
-
Participants who are unable to attend a scheduled session should notify The Nurturing Nest as early as reasonably possible.
-
Where at least 48 hours' prior notice is provided, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session to another mutually convenient time.
-
Requests received with less than 48 hours' notice may not be eligible for rescheduling except in exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of The Nurturing Nest.
-
Failure to attend a scheduled coaching session without prior notice will generally be treated as a no-show, and the session may be considered completed.
-
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling requests may affect our ability to offer further flexibility.
Where coaching is purchased as part of a package, any unused sessions remain subject to the package terms communicated at the time of purchase.
If The Nurturing Nest is unable to conduct a scheduled coaching session due to circumstances within our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session at no additional cost to the participant.
7. Memberships and Community Programs
Memberships provide ongoing access to learning resources, community spaces, live sessions, and other member benefits.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
Membership fees are generally non-refundable.
-
Cancellation of a membership will prevent future renewals where applicable but will not ordinarily create an entitlement to a refund for the current billing period.
-
Access to membership benefits may continue until the end of the applicable membership period unless otherwise specified.
-
Where access is terminated due to a material breach of our Terms of Use or Community Standards, no refund will ordinarily be provided.
If membership pricing, features, or benefits change in the future, such changes will apply prospectively and will not affect benefits already received during a completed billing period.
8. Recorded Courses
Recorded courses provide immediate or scheduled access to digital educational content.
Because access is typically granted upon successful purchase:
-
Purchases of recorded courses are generally non-refundable.
-
Once course access has been activated, refunds will not ordinarily be available simply because a participant changes their mind, decides not to continue, or does not complete the course.
-
Participants are responsible for ensuring that the course is suitable for their needs before purchasing.
-
Access to recorded courses is personal and may not be shared with others.
-
Access periods, where applicable, will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Where a technical issue originating from The Nurturing Nest prevents access to a purchased course, we will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide another appropriate solution.
9. Digital Products
Digital products include downloadable resources such as PDFs, journals, worksheets, planners, templates, workbooks, guides, affirmation cards, and similar educational materials.
Due to the nature of digital products:
-
Purchases are generally non-refundable once access or download has been provided.
-
Participants are responsible for reviewing the product description before completing their purchase.
-
Minor differences in formatting, colours, fonts, device compatibility, or printing results do not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
-
Where a digital product is found to be corrupted, incomplete due to our error, or technically inaccessible, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a corrected file, replacement download, or another appropriate solution.
10. Parent & Child Retreats and Offline Events
Our retreats, workshops, and offline events require significant advance planning, including venue bookings, facilitator scheduling, activity preparation, participant materials, and resource allocation.
Accordingly:
-
Registrations for retreats and offline events are generally non-refundable.
-
If a participant is unable to attend, they may contact us as early as possible to request a transfer to another available batch or event, where such transfer is feasible and approved by The Nurturing Nest.
-
Transfer requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
-
Failure to attend a scheduled event without prior communication will generally be treated as a no-show and will not entitle the participant to a refund.
-
Where a child is unable to attend due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we encourage parents to contact us promptly. While refunds are generally not available, we will make reasonable efforts to consider an appropriate alternative where practicable.
Participation in children's events may also be subject to separate event-specific guidelines, consent forms, safety instructions, or participation requirements communicated before the event.
If an event is interrupted or a participant is unable to continue due to medical, behavioural, safety, or emergency circumstances, The Nurturing Nest will make reasonable efforts to determine an appropriate solution based on the specific situation.
11. Cancellation by The Nurturing Nest
While we make every reasonable effort to deliver our Services as scheduled, there may occasionally be circumstances where a program, coaching session, workshop, webinar, retreat, or event needs to be postponed, rescheduled, modified, or cancelled.
Where this occurs, The Nurturing Nest may, depending on the circumstances:
-
reschedule the Service to another date;
-
offer participation in another available batch or program;
-
provide a credit towards another eligible Service; or
-
issue a refund where we determine that no reasonable alternative can be provided.
-
extend access to equivalent educational resources, recordings, or another suitable alternative, where appropriate.
The appropriate remedy will depend on factors including the nature of the Service, the stage of delivery, costs already incurred, and the reason for the cancellation.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify participants as early as practicable of any significant changes affecting their registration.
12. Payment Errors and Duplicate Payments
If you believe that:
-
you have been charged incorrectly;
-
a payment has been processed more than once;
-
the incorrect amount has been charged; or
-
a payment has failed but funds have nevertheless been deducted,
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with the relevant payment details.
Where we determine that a duplicate payment or payment error has occurred due to our systems or payment processing, we will take reasonable steps to resolve the issue, including issuing an appropriate refund where applicable.
Participants are encouraged to contact The Nurturing Nest before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their payment provider so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
Where a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated after access to a Service has already been provided, The Nurturing Nest reserves the right to temporarily suspend access while the matter is under review.
Once the payment dispute has been resolved, access will be restored or permanently discontinued, as appropriate, based on the outcome of the dispute.
13. Technical Issues
We strive to provide a reliable learning experience across our website, mobile application, digital platforms, and third-party service providers.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have:
-
a stable internet connection;
-
compatible device and internet browser (where applicable);
-
appropriate software or applications where required; and
-
access to the email address used during registration.
Refunds will not ordinarily be provided where a participant is unable to access a Service due to issues relating to their own internet connection, device, software, email account, or technical setup.
Where a technical issue is determined to have originated from The Nurturing Nest or one of our authorised service providers and materially affects access to a purchased Service, we will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide another appropriate solution.
14. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved by The Nurturing Nest, it will generally be processed using the original method of payment unless another method is agreed. Participants may be asked to provide any information reasonably required to process an approved refund.
Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days, although the time required for the funds to appear may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Any transaction fees, foreign exchange charges, bank fees, or payment gateway charges imposed by third parties may be deducted where permitted by applicable law and where such charges are not recoverable by The Nurturing Nest.
The Nurturing Nest is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions after a refund has been processed.
15. Force Majeure
The Nurturing Nest shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, postponements, or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
-
natural disasters;
-
floods;
-
earthquakes;
-
fires;
-
epidemics or pandemics;
-
government restrictions;
-
internet or telecommunications failures;
-
prolonged power outages;
-
failures of third-party platforms or payment providers;
-
cyber incidents; or
-
any other event beyond our reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, we will communicate with affected participants and, where appropriate, provide an alternative arrangement in accordance with this Policy.
The availability of any refund, credit, transfer, rescheduling, or alternative arrangement following a force majeure event will depend upon the circumstances, the nature of the affected Service, costs already incurred, applicable law, and this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in this section prevents The Nurturing Nest from providing additional assistance or alternatives where it reasonably chooses to do so.
